Due to the increased traffic in the area this year, the corner of Forest and Fourteenth Street has become a major accident zone.There are close calls every day. we need either a light, or four way stop signs. Please do something before the need for more ambulances rises. Read More

Dear Lakewood View,
It was just about 12:07 P.M. this past Friday that I witnessed something that would make even your dashcam blink! We were all lined up on MLK trying to make a left onto Pine Street. In the front of the line was a minivan probably with little children inside, waiting for the traffic to pass.

It seems that we are receiving at least five calls a day for problems dealing with traffic and safety.Interestingly enough it seems that they are commonly concerning five main areas.

We are receiving at least two calls a day complaining about the impassable 9th and 10th streets between Madison,Clifton and Lexington. We received numerous calls, some from young children saying that they are scared to cross the street on Martin Luther and Pine Street. The increased traffic there seems to be out of control.One caller suggested that perhaps the builders that caused the increased traffic, should pay for the new traffic light. Read More
