It was a good thing that our BOE members have finally gotten those IPADs that were needed so desperately to manage our Public School system. Now that it was voted on and approved, any day now they each should be unpacking their new IPAD in the color of their choice. Not sure if they chose the 16 32 or 64 gig models. I hope they made sure they have 3G so they can take them with them when they review the schools. The added 30 dollars a month per pad for wireless service shouldn't bother anybody. After all the BOE office rent is more than twenty times that of the Blue Claws team to rent an entire stadium. Two Hundred and Seventy dollars a month should hardly be noticed when the rent bill is Fifty Thousand Dollars.
The IPAD also has many great APPS and Utilities. One of the most common Utilities is the CALCULATOR. You can make it really BIG on an IPAD. Big enough so that you can't push the wrong button and make a mistake no matter how incompetent you are with numbers. It is such a shame that the Board didn't have access to this new technology when they decided to fire Michael Inzelbuch, alluding that his services were costing the taxpayer too much money. It seems that this month the new law firm billed the town legal fees of 133,685 dollars! Last month the legal fees total was over 147 thousand dollars. So in two monthe we have already spent over 280 Thousand dollars? The total fees Michael Inzelbuch charged for these same services was 350 thousand dollars for the entire year. How did this happen?
The Board of ED insisted that this new Law Firm bills less per hour. Now here is where you might need that shiny new IPAD Calculator. If the old experienced Lawyer bills 300 dollars an hour and works for ten hours to get a job done, and the new one bills 200 dollars an hour but requires thirty hours to do the job, which one is cheaper?
Now that I think about it, you don't really need an IPAD Calculator to get that figured out. At the next meeting I will present each one of you with a shiny $1.95 calculator from my novelty bins. They are cheap but they work great, and are solar powered. You will be able to use them wherever you go, just like 3G.

yeah, they sure screwed up on the legal dept. These firms bill per hour, per lawyer! they can have many lawyers billing us tax cows per hour, not to mention that these guys bill probably around a hundred bucks for paralegal workers, plus they bill us for coffee, a peace of paper, if they g-d forbid have to mail something, that ninety five bucks!.

Hershel. It's all worked out. On my iPad. 24 hours a day x 30 days per month= 720 hours.
720 hours x $200 per hour = $144 thousand dollars. They actually only
spent 280k over the last 2 months. They saved us 8k!! Perhaps a bit of appreciation is in order here. Can we get them a plaque?
HH lets call a spade a spade. You are lurking in the shadows waiting for BOE members to do something"wrong". You have a vandetta against them, as you are 'insulted' that they didn't deliver the senior vote for you. HH when you dealing with politics you can't let every little insult drive you to the brink. Get a little thicker skin.

While I'm not sure what if any productivity will be the outcome of issuing I-Pads to members ,when in comparrison to other expenses it does not even amount to pennies ,why not go after the millions of $$$$$ spent on questionable diversion of public tax dollars and then worry about the miniscule pennies wasted in on other items (by the way if it can be shown that IPads will be a legitimit tool then it was a smart move) so bottom line here is stop being penny wise and dollar foolish

it seems like Herschel has become inzulbuchs new friar.
1. inzulbuch billed the BOE close to 600K per year .
2. Inzulbuch did not take care of legal issues which ended up costing the BOE ( taxpayer) much more . so he didnt do more. as you should be able to see on the net balance sheets in a year.
3. inzulbuch was geting 20% kickbacks from about 20 -30 million dollars worth of no bid contracts that he was giving out + those kicking him back the money were able to pocket huge amounts another 20% because they were in on the game.
there is now 9 -12 million dollars worth of extra services that will be going to special needs children and children that need extra help which you wont see on the balance sheet , because this money will be used be used on the 3000 - 4000 children that need it most instead of going into his pocket and the pockets of corrupt power brokers.
Herschel we know you mean well but now you are being used to cover for the power brokers and corrupt people you have been calling out, the reason why inzulbuch was booted is because he was diverting these 9-12 million dollars to his pocket and the pockets of the corrupt people who are fighting you, they are the same ones who didnt let your daughters into school ( and if you really want and have a few hours, i can show you the money trail.)
i am not coming to justify many of the things that zeitler , zalatkin and fink are doing , and there is no reason for them to have ipads. the could have gotten laptops from dell at 400 bucks each, but to keep track and figure out all the mess and diverted money that inzulbuch did over the past 10 may actually take 64 gig so no room for angry birds apps.

The ONLY reason they threw out Michael is because that was the # 1 priority on Hertz 's agenda. Hertz couldn't give 2 cents about the outrageous cost to the lowly taxpayer. firing MI was a good decision and not bc he was cheaper...theres many other things that went on their that were his fault. the new law firm is worth every penny. we as the public have every right to know certain information which mi always kept to himself.

this was Inzelbuchs kickback to AK for having the Vaad vote for inzulbuchs handpicked candidates and for turning a blind high for all the gineva that inzelbuch did

To be honest with you it all sounds like a big conspiracy to blame inzelbuch. Something goes wrong it's inzelbuch's fault? Are you kidding me!! These new lawyers are on pace to charge us taxpayers over a million dollars this year (and counting). That can't have anything to do with inzelbuch could it!!?? Or maybe he's getting kickbacks from them also (not bad,right?).
Also, inzelbuch billed $600k for TWO jobs, not one but TWO!! Could you imagine these new guys with two jobs!!
Also, I know the family well, trust me they don't have no 20-30 million dollars. (look at there new house it's all siding ,no brick,no stuco,SIDING!!) maybe you think that because of all the chessed they do that they have so much money. Ask the neighbors if there extremely wealthy, they will all say a resounding NO!!
Also, let's see how much more services are given out. To me it doesn't make sense that there will be more services because seitler and fink don't care about schi or anything else, all they care is about saving money.
BOTTOM LINE: if inzelbuch did anything wrong he would be in jail because herz has been trying to do that for years and that there's proof!! The only one who has been Proven corrupt is MH (loosen your memories) and we all know who is in charge of the puppet show called the BOE, MH!! Let's not blame inzelbuch for the new attorneys fees. We are starting to sound like Obama blaming bush.

Dude u knw n/t michael didn't make up price for AK...& it was def a complicated job & isire he spent lot of hrs on it which he cud've gotten from diff clients...don't forget MI is awfully bz...check google, he's rated in top 5 of NJ SPECIAL ED Lawyers.
Fyi the new law firm is known not to last at any BOE for more then 2yrs. They're known to over price like crazy & then just get fired....they have a crzy history if any of u ever did any researched and happens to be MI never lost a case to them....
true MI has never lost a case for the boe but that isnt the point here. theres so many comments on here that sound like theyre being written by one person whos yelling till he/she is black and blue in the face to try to sound like MI is a tzaddik. he aint no saint and he is the most liked/hated man in this town. some people with special needs children he did help out tremendously but many people he did not. he made a mint off the boe and theres no denying that.
he did things plenty of things that werent legal just for self gain. he ruined the public school system bc he didnt take care of the needs. he also started self contained classes in private schools which are wonderful. but he wasnt worth the price we paid. this change is good and as much as i was nervous that the boe would fall apart when he left, i only see that more good keeps coming from it.
